Many in the UAP community eagerly await what is often seen as the holy grail in the UFO world; Disclosure. But what if disclosure has already happened? It has been suggested that if one were to look back over various comments made by government representatives both former and current, the overall conclusion just might be that we have already been told what we are so desperate to hear. Is it possible that there is so much uncertainty surrounding the subject that those who are eagerly searching for answers cannot currently see the wood for the trees, and that the answers we seek may already be right under our noses?
Firstly, the US government has already acknowledged the existence of UAP on many occasions, with Luis Elizondo, former director of AATIP and head of the Pentagon UAP program, quoted on 60 Minutes as saying that "the government has already stated for the record that they're real." He added in a statement released on Twitter yesterday "many of these UP display beyond next generation capabilities that defy what we know about physics, interfere with our military and nuclear platforms, and remain unidentified."
Barack Obama, former US President, also confirmed the existence of UAP, revealing on the Late Late Show with James Corden, "there is footage and records of objects in the skies. We don't know exactly what they are. We can't explain how they moved, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern."
Multiple military officials have reported sightings of UAP, including Senator Marco Rubio, the former Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, who said on Fox News "We have things flying over our military bases and places where we’re conducting military exercises and we don't know what it is…. It’s clear that the majority.. of the observations that we have are physical objects from the sensor data... Technologies that we don’t have and, frankly, that we are not capable of defending against," said John Ratcliffe, former Director of National Intelligence, on Fox News.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has also released reports acknowledging the existence of UAP and stating that they pose a threat to national security. The 2021 Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena report to Congress stated that "UAP continue to represent a hazard to flight safety and pose a possible adversary collection threat," and that "Most of the UAP reported probably do represent physical objects given that a majority of UAP were registered across multiple sensors, to include radar, infrared, electro-optical, weapon seekers, and visual observation." This was even further clarified with the 2022 UAP report, which has intrigued many members of Congress who are now applying further pressure to the various arms of government for transparency within the topic. Senator Blumenthal has said in recent days "The American people should be given more information. They're ready for it. They can handle it. And they need and deserve to know it."
Recent legislation signed by President Biden, as well as his recent address to the nation, suggests that the US government is taking the issue seriously. The 2023 National Defense Authorization Act includes provisions for an audit of government involvement in UAP since 1945, as well as the establishment of a UAP whistleblower program and a directive for AARO to develop a collection and science plan. "UAP deserves our attention as a matter of aerospace safety and national security," said Ryan Graves, Chair of the AIAA UAP Integration & Outreach Committee, on The Debrief.
As the evidence continues to mount, it's becoming increasingly clear that the UAP phenomenon is real, and that perhaps we have already been informed of this officially in the least alarming way possible. It may be necessary for the government to drip feed information to the public and the UAP community over a long period of time, so as not to cause mass panic. Tom DeLonge, originally of Blink 182 fame but presently widely known for founding TTSA, has said publicly that when he was informed of the truth behind the phenomenon by reliable government sources, he didn’t sleep for days - and this from someone who had already studied the phenomenon enthusiastically for decades.
The truth DeLonge is referring to, as well as many other hypothesis, hints and statements from official sources with regards to the phenomenon will be explored and compiled by UAP News over the coming weeks, so stay tuned as we ride the exciting wave of disclosure together.
